From Inquiry to Store Delivery
A practical activewear order, production and logistics flow from initial inquiry to store delivery. Exact steps may vary by product, buyer requirements and agreed Incoterm.
Buyer provides tech pack or reference sample, fabric, colors, sizes, logo, labels, quantity, destination and deadline. GENY YOGA reviews construction, materials, branding, packing and delivery terms to prepare a quotation.
After sampling requirements are confirmed, the sample room prepares pattern, fabric, cutting, sewing, logo application and measurements. Buyer reviews fit, fabric, color, stitching, labels and trims; revisions are recorded clearly.
Bulk price, quantity, payment terms, labels, trims, packing and delivery terms are confirmed. Fabric swatches, color cards or lab dips are approved, and a pre-production sample becomes the final reference before manufacturing.
Production follows approved specifications and sample reference. Main stages may include fabric preparation, cutting, heat-transfer or logo work, sewing, thread trimming, finishing and in-line quality checks.
Bulk garments are checked for measurements, stitching, workmanship, fabric appearance, colors, labels, logos and packing information. Approved goods are folded, labeled, packed, marked and transferred to the finished-goods warehouse.
Carton quantity, volume, weight and destination information are used for shipment booking. Goods are collected, delivered to the freight facility or loaded into a container, then move by courier, air or sea.
When goods arrive, the responsible importing party completes customs clearance under the agreed Incoterm. After release, products can move to the buyer's warehouse, stores, distributors, studios or e-commerce fulfillment centers.
Warehouse & Logistics
From sample approval to international delivery, GENY YOGA focuses on clear product identification, accurate packing and practical coordination between production, warehouse and logistics teams.
After production and inspection, approved garments are transferred to the finished-goods warehouse. Products and cartons are identified by customer or PO reference, style, color, size, quantity, carton number, shipping marks and destination.
Packing should be confirmed before bulk packing begins: folding, hangtags, brand labels, care, size and barcode labels, polybags, assortments, cartons and shipping marks. Retail-ready packaging should be discussed during quotation.
Before dispatch, carton count, quantity per carton, assortment, dimensions, gross weight, net weight, carton marks and order reference are recorded for packing lists and shipment booking. Markings are checked against confirmed order information.
Bulk garments are inspected against the approved sample and confirmed requirements: style, color and size breakdown, measurements, stitching, fabric surface, logos, labels, components, packing method, carton quantity and marks.
After packing information and target shipment date are confirmed, shipment arrangements begin. The transport method depends on order volume, destination, cost and delivery time, including express courier, air freight, sea freight, FCL and LCL.
Express courier suits samples, documents and small urgent shipments. Air freight is faster for time-sensitive larger shipments. Sea freight is common for commercial orders; FCL or LCL depends on carton volume, destination and forwarder arrangement.
For container shipments, the team confirms booking and container type, checks carton quantities and shipping marks, organizes cartons for loading, records loading information and closes the container for onward transport. Loading photos can be arranged when required.
Documents are prepared according to delivery method and trade terms: commercial invoice, packing list, shipping instructions, bill of lading or air waybill, certificate of origin when required, and other destination-specific documents.
Freight costs, insurance, export handling, import clearance, duties, destination charges and inland transport depend on the agreed Incoterm. Buyers should confirm local import rules with their forwarder or customs broker before order placement.
